The La Spiaggia Hotel is a family run hotel right on the beach in Monterosso al Mare.   The LaSpiaggia Hotel is located right on the main street that runs along the beach.   Exit the Train Station and turn right (North).   Walk one block, the La Spiaggia Hotel is located right on the corner. Look for the sign.   Most rooms have balconies, all have showers and toilets.   The hotel has a new hot water system with plenty of hot water for showers.  The hotel has an elevator, in room safes, in room telephones and television (CNN).   Some rooms have air conditioning.   Double and family rooms available.   There is a hotel bar but no music.   The street is closed to traffic in the summer.   Your host, Andrea Poggi, and his family will help you choose among the many restaurants in the village.   Telephone, Fax, or email for reservations or more information.   Andrea speaks many languages.

Monterosso al Mare has the best beach in the Cinque Terre and is convenient for walking the trails between the 5 towns, walking north to Levanto, or visiting other nearby areas.   Day trips to Genova, Pisa, La Spezia, Lucca, Levanto and even Florence are possible because of the frequent train connections.   Monterosso al Mare is the largest of the 5 towns in the Cinque Terre.   Monterosso has plenty of places to relax, eat and drink.   Watch a sunset over a glass of wine.   Ferry boats and frequent train service connect all of the Cinque Terre towns. The La Spiaggia Hotel is well situated right on the beach, with fantastic views along the coast. The La Spiaggia Restaurant is closed but still does bed and breakfast.   The breakfast is one of the best in Italy with fresh meats, cheeses, cereals, breads, juices and coffee.  There are many restaurants in the town of Monterosso al Mare.-
